Are you ready to take your estimating skills to the next level? Wolgast Corporation, a leading construction provider specializing in Design/Build, Construction Management, and General Construction, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team!
Essential Functions:

The estimator is responsible for gathering, calculation, and compiling data for use in bid proposal estimates to ensure client expectations and company standards are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for diverse project scopes.
Prepare estimates for self-performed work, including site work, excavation, footings & foundations, interior and exterior concrete, rough framing, and interior finishes.
Develop budget estimates for design/build projects.
Engage in conceptual estimating and value engineering by reviewing construction drawings.
Coordinate the entire estimating process for various project an bid types (hard, conceptual, and negotiated).
Assist in crafting comprehensive project updates and bid packages.
Maintain meticulous documentation to support estimating figures.
Present compelling project estimates and Schedules of Values to clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or other related field highly desired.
Estimating experience in commercial construction.
Practical knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, contracts, coding systems, etc.
Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office and estimating software (e.g., Roktek, Plan Swift, Bluebeam).
