Our department handles everything from automotive lifts, lube systems, air compressors, to wheel service equipment. Every day is a new adventure. Pay based on experience
Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours and overtime as required, averaging 50 hours/week

Responsibilities:
Installs, services, upgrades and repairs tanks, pumps, meters and other petroleum equipment as required.
Clearly understands job specifications and the customer’s expectations for the delivery of estimates.
Participates in developing Equipment Department estimates for customers. Works with Coordinator to develop accurate estimates of time and materials. Ensures job estimates are completed and delivered in time to meet customer’s expectations.
Ensures all work orders are accurate and complete for each job. This includes a customer PO number, all part numbers and equipment, all billable hours, the contact’s name and a detailed description of the work that was performed. Ensures work order numbers are included on all purchase orders.
Ensures separate work orders are created for each service provided at customer locations regardless of whether they are performed during the same visit.
Ensures all paperwork is submitted to office personnel within 24 hours of a job’s completion date.
Works with Coordinator to control parts inventories to minimize holding costs. Ensures adequate inventory of “A” items while minimizing inventory of remaining parts and equipment.
Limits vendors to those who meet our quality specifications at the lowest costs.
Maximizes billable hours by identifying all job-related hours and ensuring they are documented and accounted for on work orders. Minimizes idle, unproductive time.
Maintains and enforces Halron company policies and procedures.
Ensures that trucks, inventories and work areas are clean and organized.
Maintains a professional appearance and image.
KEY COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: Mechanical aptitude, experience working with power and hand tools, must be comfortable working above ground on ladders, effective verbal and written communication skills, customer focused, initiative, dependable, flexible, must have a clean driving record that meets with the company hiring standards.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work can be physically demanding. Moderate amount of time spent standing, walking and lifting. Normal hearing and vision required. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Climbing ladders is a common practice when installing and servicing equipment. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Typically works in a shop environment that may be influenced by external weather conditions. Occasionally works outdoors and is exposed to seasonal weather conditions. Typically drives to customer locations in a company vehicle. Installs and services equipment used in the storage and dispensing of petroleum products.
