Conducts interactive interviews with applicants, or applicant/recipients authorized representative, to determine initial or ongoing eligibility for TANF, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Work Programs, all Medicaid programs, PRC, Waivers, Healthchek, and Transportation. Pings the Hub and uses Asset Verification System (AVS) to verify income and resources. Reviews applications based on State and/or Federal guidelines. Explains to recipients their rights and responsibilities. Knows how to access and use OB, EDMS, SETS, The Work Number, and any other system that assists with eligibility determination. Enters gathered data into Ohio Benefits which includes all household information. Completes documentation, thoroughly and timely, on all cases and uses required templates for intakes and renewals. Meets timely guidelines as set by State rules and regulations. Able to recognize fraud, over and under issuances and corresponds with Fraud/Overpayment Unit. Performs overrides and reissues benefits or maintains case on an as-needed basis. Prepares and conducts county conferences and state hearings. Contacts Child Support, Day Care case manager and/or Children Services case manager on an as-needed basis. Interacts with other agencies and divisions of the agency on an as-needed basis. Performs related clerical/support activities, labels, Hyland Print. Keeps case files updated either directly or through support staff. Attends meetings, training, and conferences.
