What You’ll Do:
General Office Management. Prepare correspondence, reports, manuals, and forms relating to trucking logistics. Compose letters and memos from verbal direction or from knowledge of organization policy or procedures.
Maintain Records and Documents. Demonstrate knowledge of filing system through the ability to set up and appropriately file, update, purge, and archive data dealing with DOT compliance. Maintain a comprehensive set of historical information for future projects or research. Send out reminders to drivers and truck owners for DOT required documents.
Preparation of Documents. Prepare documents for internal and external DOT audits. Collect inspection reports and submitting documents to compliance agency.
Invoice and Expense Processing. Review invoices to confirm receipt of item or work performed and accuracy of cost. Code invoice with department cost code before submitting to the manager for approval. Coordinate payment process for department expenses. Verify charges shown on monthly cost statements. Maintain proper records of procurement card charges and assure proper procedures are followed.
Ensure Compliance. Ensure compliance with state and federal DOT regulations by managing drug/alcohol program.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Skills You’ll Need:
Experience. Previous administration, secretarial, or office work experience is preferred.
Technology Skills. Must have the ability to use computers, cell phones, and other electronic devices. Must have appropriate typing skills and a thorough understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Interpersonal Skills. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with people in all levels of the organization.
Integrity. Must act with unyielding integrity and honesty in business transactions, promote company policies, and hold self and other employees accountable.
Attention to Detail. Must have a keen attention to detail, especially with typing and administrative tasks requiring a high degree of skill and accuracy. Must have excellent organizational skills.

Salary Range. The base salary range for this role is between $23.00 - 25.00 per hour. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
