Door and Panel Builder

Position Summary
This position is responsible for building door and inserts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Cuts parts
Runs table saw
Cope parts on the shaper
Builds doorspanels, table legs and sands inserts
Material handling
Operates chop saw, table saw, cope machine, and shapers
Understands the cut listing paperwork
Runs and sets up shapers, performs all PM on station machines
When caught up help out other areas within department.
Complete all necessary paperwork associated with position in an accurate time and manner
Housekeeping/safety
Other duties as assigned

Education, Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to the typical environment found in an office, as well as those found in a wood manufacturing facility, such as noise, dust, heat, cold, and finishing fumes and odors. The employee will often be called upon to meet and direct outside trucks, in which case the employee will encounter normal weather patterns for the season, i.e. heat, cold, rain, or snow.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb, crouch, and reach. The employee may regularly lift of move items up to 50 pounds or heavier; use of proper material handling equipment is available.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm. Additional hours and overtime required as necessary.

Travel not required.
