Bouncer/Doorman

Bouncer/ doorman needed for Dalton Distillery.
Shifts are Friday and Saturday night 10pm-2am
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patrons as they arrive at the venue.
  • Check identification to verify that customers are of legal drinking age.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers.
Security and Safety:
  • Monitor the venue for any signs of inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
  • Prevent the entry of individuals who are intoxicated, underage, or involved in a previous incident at the venue.
  • Remove or escort out unruly or violent patrons in a safe and professional manner.
  • Respond to altercations or incidents promptly, ensuring the safety of customers and staff.
  • Monitor parking lots, exterior areas, and surroundings for any security concerns.
Communication and Teamwork:
  • Collaborate closely with bartenders to ensure the venue runs smoothly.
  • Relay any significant incidents or security concerns to the management or appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve conflicts and de-escalate tense situations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
  • 4 hour shift
License/Certification:
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Armed Security License (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
  • Asheville, NC 28801 (Required)
Work Location: In person
