DOMESTIC VIOLENCE COMMUNITY HEALTH ADVOCATE: The Domestic Violence Community Health Advocate (DV-CHA) is a full-time position at Turning Point. This position is an essential part of a collaborative statewide effort to address the need for accessible community-based health and safety services for victims of intimate partner violence. The DV-CHA will engage trauma-informed best practices and work directly with victims of intimate partner violence providing direct advocacy and support, safety planning, case management and connections to supportive services in the community. The DV-CHW will build capacity for connections to supportive services through increasing linkages to community health services. Travel required. Must have an Associate's degree in Human Services or related field. Ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in advocacy and knowledge of community providers and resources.
