Dog Walker/Pet Sitter
*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. This role is perfect for animal lovers who enjoy spending time outdoors and providing exceptional care for dogs. As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of dogs during their walks, offering companionship, exercise, and attention. Your commitment to animal care will help enhance the lives of our furry clients and provide peace of mind to their owners. *Responsibilities* - Walk dogs in various weather conditions while ensuring their safety and comfort. - Provide basic training commands during walks to reinforce good behavior. - Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to the owner. - Maintain a clean environment by picking up after dogs during walks. - Ensure that each dog receives adequate exercise tailored to their individual needs. - Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior and any issues that arise. - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding care routines or special needs. *Skills* - Strong knowledge of animal care and handling techniques. - Experience with veterinary practices or as a veterinary technician is a plus. - Familiarity with pet grooming and hygiene practices. - Ability to restrain animals safely when necessary. - Skills in dog training to promote positive behavior during walks. - Previous experience in kennel environments or pet sitting is advantageous. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with both pets and their owners. - A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
