Job Summary and Qualifications

The Tri Star Division Director of Infection Prevention is a hybrid, floating IP position that ensures high quality, patient-centered care by supporting the coordination of the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program, which includes surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital acquired infections, education of staff, and the development of health system policies, procedures, plans, and performance improvement projects to ensure rigorous infection prevention standards that meet regulatory requirements. This position flexes to meet the needs of the facilities within Tri Star during position vacancies, leave of absence, vacations, or other reason. In collaboration with the Quality leaders and Infection Prevention (IP) team, the Division Director of Infection Prevention makes decisions relative to the surveillance, prevention, and control of infections. This position must have the expertise to recognize and identify areas of opportunity, create effective solutions for resolution, coordinate, and execute. It requires both in person interactions at facilities and division, as well as work from home opportunities.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field required
• Master's Degree in Nursing Healthcare related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in a clinical setting
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
• 5+ years healthcare experience in Infection Control
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC)
