Restorative Director - Full-Time – Generations at Oakton Pavillion, Des Plaines, IL
Generations at Oakton Pavillion in Des Plaines, IL, has an Immediate Opening for a Restorative Director
Must be either a LPN or RN. Rehab/Restorative Experience preferred, but will provide training for ideal candidate.
This is a Full-Time position with an annual salary of $89,360 - PLUS, a $10,000 Sign on Bonus, paid immediately at an additional $5.00 per hour!
The Restorative Director will be responsible for the implementation of the facility's rehabilitation/restorative care program, policies and procedures in accordance with established policies. This key individual will actively focus on achieving and maintaining optimal physical, mental and psycho-social health and functionality for our residents.
The Restorative Director reports to the Director of Nursing.

- Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
- Direct, supervise and coordinate the implementation of the rehabilitation/restorative care program
- Oversee the new staff orientation process,
- Ensure that ADL charting, use of POC devices, use of gait belts and proper use of lifts and transfer aids are being properly handled
- Evaluate all newly admitted residents for their rehabilitative/restorative appropriateness and individual needs
- Quarterly patient reviews
- Supervise scheduling of sufficient staff
- Supervise daily and meet weekly with Restorative Aides to review resident changes and progress
Requirements: of the Restorative Director:
- Experience and License as an Illinois LPN or RN
- Restorative Nurse certification highly preferred
- Restorative Nurse experience
- MDS experience
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing facility
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
