Works with senior management to ensure the Patient Accounts strategy, policies and procedures support the organization's strategy and business objectives. Develops Patient Accounts budget for the department. Serves as the regulatory and statutory expert for the department. System level support role.

Description
1. Develops strategic plans, goals and outcomes for Patient Accounts department.
2. Functions as the expert in statutory and regulatory requirements.
3. Identifies key performance indicators and ensures indicators are monitored. Identifies when deviations occur from the desired outcome and resolves the issue.
4. Ensures the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the software and systems that are critical to Patient Accounts.
5. Leads and supports quality improvement processes that include goals and performance targets.
6. Prepares, justifies and administers departmental and program budgets.
7. Responsible for achieving target collections keeping over 90 accounts within target calculations.
8. Full personnel authority including hiring, terminations, coaching, counseling, evaluating and training.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
