Trade Routes is Tulsa’s premier location for buying and selling the most popular trading card games – Magic the Gathering and Pokemon. Our origin is in buying and selling large card collections online. We’ve also established a fast growing retail business in midtown Tulsa. We see exciting opportunities in expanded retail and online operations. We are looking for an experienced candidate to lead day-to-day operations for our retail and online business.
Job Description:
The Director of Operations will ensure execution and efficiency in day-to-day operations. This role is critical in driving store performance, customer satisfaction, and team productivity. The ideal candidate will have a background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, a genuine love for customer service and interest in the game store industry. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated to scale and grow with a small business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily retail and online operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance execution and consistency.
- Develop and monitor KPIs for different roles in the organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop store staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Coordinate store events, promotions, and community outreach programs.
- Oversee marketing strategy and campaigns.
- Experience in retail management or operations, preferably in the hobby or specialty retail industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing store operations.
- Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed.
- Highly organized with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining business processes in a small business environment
- Demonstrated ability to scale small business operations
