Prairie St. John's, a 132-bed psychiatric care facility located in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 5,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.
The Director of Clinical Services creates and oversees the development, implementation, and delivery of clinical programs and services necessary to meet key behavioral health needs of the community in keeping with the hospital’s philosophy and goals and regulatory requirements. The Director of Clinical Services leads therapists, mental health counselors, discharge planners, social workers, substance use counselors, performance improvement department and various contracted services. The Director of Clinical Services recruits, trains, and mentors staff members in an effort to develop staff improve teamwork, morale and quality metrics.

Director of Clinical Services Job Requirements:

Master’s degree in social work or counseling
Licensure as an LICSW or LPCC.
Five years clinical therapy experience
Two years of positive and empowering leadership experience required.
Stellar communication and relationship skills including the ability problem solve and encourage teamwork.
