Director, DT PMO & Agile Delivery
This position will play a critical role in driving strategic evolution in our PMO and Agile journey, fostering innovation and collaboration across our organization. You are proficient in Agile adoption, Agile implementation, program governance, project & program management, PMO process definition and continuous improvement. While this role requires big picture strategic thinking, it also requires hands on expertise to drive execution of strategic objectives and enthusiasm for managing the details of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Strategic Expertise: Offer business domain and functional expertise to develop program strategies that align with the goals of the Digital Technology (DT) unit.
- Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Guide and support PMO and Agile teams by fostering a collaborative environment, providing strategic direction, and teams have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles and drive successful outcomes.
- Lead Agile Transformation: Develop and implement strategies that embed Agile principles, approaches, practices, and tools into the organization's culture, ensuring teams are empowered to deliver value efficiently and dynamically.
- Implement Agile Frameworks: Apply a pragmatic approach to incorporating Agile methodologies into DT program delivery, enhancing business objectives and improving delivery outcomes.
- Lead Governance Optimization: Lead efforts to streamline and improve PMO governance processes within DT, ensuring they are lean, lightweight, effective, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals, while maintaining necessary controls and oversight for project and program management.
- Ensure Governance Compliance: Oversee adherence to our governance, ensuring continuous rollout of efficient policies and practices are properly communicated.
- Develop and Deliver PMO Training: Design and deliver training programs focused on PMO concepts and best practices, ensuring that PMs are proficient in standardized project management methodologies.
- Conduct Agile Practices Training: Design and deliver Agile training programs to ensure that DT teams are well-versed in Agile principles, practices, and tools, enabling them to adapt and succeed in our strategic Agile transformation journey.
- Develop Communication Plans: Create and manage communication strategies to keep internal stakeholders informed about the health of DT programs.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal and external team members to drive continuous improvement in governance and delivery mechanisms.
- Oversee Program Lifecycle: Monitor DT programs from start to finish, ensuring that deadlines, milestones, dependencies, and processes are effectively managed throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Lead Portfolio Delivery: Oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a portfolio of DT-related programs and projects.
- Define and Measure KPIs: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and report on the status and value creation of DT programs.

Experience and Skills:
- Expertise in project management And Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Expertise in leading a team of program management leaders, PMs and Agile practitioners.
- Previous experience in establishing and transforming PMOs.
- Proven leadership in leading Agile transformation initiatives within large organizations, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful change.
- Experience in providing project health reporting and updates to executive and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical colleagues at all levels.
- Experience working within multinational global organizations.
- Experience working with global teams, capable of bringing together stakeholders, aligning strategic goals, initiatives and driving improvements.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, communication and presentation skills.
- Certification in related PM and Agile practices (PMP, SAFe SPC, Scrum, etc.).
- Proficient in PPM and Agile tools.
- Familiarity with AI and its utilization is a plus.
