The Director of Operations is responsible for the operational performance of multiple clinic locations. Provides management and oversight functions for assigned clinics; collaborating with the Regional Vice President of Clinic Operations, physician leaders, physicians/providers and management team to ensure high quality patient care. Advises and seeks consent from the organizations leadership team to coordinate and manage the activities for assigned clinic.

Responsibilities:
Unity Point Clinic Cedar Rapids is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team. As Director of Clinic Operations, this leader will partner with physician leaders in a dyad relationship to:
- Guide Clinic Administrators and Site Leads in the optimization of clinic operations and performance for assigned specialty areas including: Pediatrics, Perinatology, and Urgent Care.
- Collaborate within the regional Clinic leadership team to develop strategy and execute on initiatives.
- Facilitate the provider recruitment process for assigned areas including perform analysis to determine need and oversee the selection process.
- Demonstrate sound fiscal management of clinic operations through budget planning and performance. Assure optimal use of regional resources to meet objectives.
- Mentor and develop new and current clinic leaders.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of physician practice management experience desired.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of physician practice management experience required.
- Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) is a plus.
