Direct Support Professional For Children and Teens
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with varying levels of intellectual, and behavioral challenges. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing mentoring assistance and support in daily living activities as well as ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and creating a positive and nurturing environment. DSPs assist individuals in becoming involved and connected within their community, providing tailored support based on their preferences, while following established treatment plans. Services are provided in the child’s home and/or in the community. This role is located throughout Westchester County. Shifts available:
Monday-Friday afternoons (after school)
Saturday-Sunday (any time)
Skills:
Mentor and assist children in their daily living activities
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all clients
Build positive relationships with clients and work on specific goals
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for assisting those in need
Possesses a friendly disposition with a positive attitude
Responsible and Reliable
Qualifications:
Caregiving experience with children required.
Possession of a Bachelors required
Availability to work afternoon hours
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record preferred
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week Benefits:
