This Dietary Aide/Food Prep position is located in our Nutrition Services Department. Come work in our large commercial kitchen!
Hours: This is a full-time, 32 hours per week, benefited position (Tuesday through Saturday, 6am-2:30pm and/or 5am-2:30pm, hours may vary) Starting Salary: $18.63 - $26.38/hr. Rate of pay quoted is for less than one year up to 30 years of experience. Pay is determined by years of experience. PLUS shift differentials where applicable. What you'll do:
Duties include food prep, and preparing and following patient and resident diet sheets for tray accuracy throughout the Acute Care and LTC resident's hospital stay.
The Dietary Aide is responsible for improving the quality of care for all hospital patients, including stocking food to various departments throughout the hospital.
Work in our commercial kitchen!
What you'll need:
Be at least 18 years old.
The minimum of a high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
Previous foodservice experience is desirable, but not required.
Must have the ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Good physical health with the ability to lift heavy objects is required.
Maintain a clean, well groomed and professional appearance.
Must possess a State of Alaska Food Worker's Card within 30 days of employment.
