Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and food production in a nursing home or hospital kitchen
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure meals are prepared accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with serving meals to residents or patients
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to dietary requests or concerns
Skills:
- Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation role is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring ingredients
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, patients, and staff members
