Platform Upgrades / Migration Migrate to Latest version
Assess & generate detailed roadmap to Maintain and operationalize Puppet Code & Versions, Terraform TFE Cloud and Github Platforms
Design and maintain automation infrastructure for continuity of service and capacity expansion including high availability design
Create automated jobs to trigger Puppet runs based upon code commits, build artefacts etcetera
Rationalize & Consolidate Multiple Terraform instance to 1-2 TFE
Adoption of New Features (Advanced security , Git Hub Co Pilot)
Creates, and manages Infrastructure as Code (Ia C)
Maintain a central store of configuration data used by multiple teams in a multi-environment setup
Manage hiera ENC data lookups for node classification from multiple data sources (YAML, JSON, CSV etc)
Works cross-value streams with other Dev Ops Engineers to avoid and resolve merge conflicts.
Uses industry standard tools to improve and speed up delivery of our products and services.
Provides fast and thoughtful issue resolution by executing quick fixes or proactively identifying and solving problems related to builds in production environments.
Provisioning infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and cloud
Developing automation scripts and tooling using an IT automation tool
Building a CI/CD pipeline, including build/test/deployment workflows
Monitoring system performance to analyze performance, security, and reliability
Integrating security and compliance into the platform with encryption and access management
Documenting configurations and processes so different teams understand how to use the same platform
Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to understand what they need from the platform
Researching emerging technologies to build into the platform, as well as their potential impact
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $46.23/hour - $72.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
