As the Designated Broker, you will oversee compliance, risk management, and support operations, ensuring that our agents adhere to all regulatory standards while upholding the highest level of professionalism and ethical conduct. This role is pivotal in guiding agents through challenging transactions, delivering ongoing training, and building an empowered team that reflects Amherst Madison’s values of integrity, quality, and excellence. AM is a growing organization, so we place special emphasis on the word building in the previous statement. While not your primary function, you will be expected to be an active participant in the AM Growth Team and you will be expected to recruit agents to join the brokerage. Perhaps most importantly, the DB position is highly prominent within any real estate organization and carries with it a responsibility for the utmost in ethical conduct, strong work ethic, and carrying out the values of the brokerage on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: · Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all agents adhere to state and federal real estate regulations, brokerage policies, and legal standards. Mitigate risk through proactive management and thorough oversight of contracts and transactions. · Agent Support & Development: Provide leadership, coaching, and resources for agents to build their skills, expand their market expertise, and improve client satisfaction. · Training & Education: Develop and deliver continuous training programs that focus on best practices, ethics, contract management, and effective prospecting and client-conversion techniques. · Transaction Oversight: Review and approve transactions, contracts, and marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality standards in all client-facing materials. · Leadership & Culture Building: Foster a collaborative, client-focused culture that aligns with Amherst Madison’s mission of service excellence and luxury real estate expertise. Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate employees · Agent Recruiting: Engage directly with agent prospects and leads, set meetings and follow up with them explaining the brokerage value proposition, and be an active recruiter who is bringing in both new and experienced agents to the brokerage. · Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with company leadership to drive business development initiatives and expansion strategies that align with Amherst Madison’s goals. Assist in developing Amherst Madison brand awareness. Support Amherst Madison business goals including company plans of action, and managing long term goals. Qualifications: · Active Idaho Real Estate Broker License with extensive industry experience including success on the sales side at some point in your career. · Proven track record in real estate brokerage management, with experience as a Designated Broker preferred but not required. · In-depth knowledge of real estate law, contracts, and compliance. · Strong leadership skills, with a commitment to supporting agent growth and ethical practices. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing high-stakes transactions and complex client needs.
