Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Load and unload packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling of goods before delivery.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is essential for efficient delivery operations.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position.
