Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, primarily cookies
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Package and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and work area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient production
- Assist with catering orders and special requests
- Decorate cookies and other baked goods as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with customers and taking special orders
- Culinary or baking education or certification is a plus
