CYBERSECURITY COORDINATOR

BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS:

Under direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the Cybersecurity Coordinator performs advanced, complex server and network administration functions providing reliable operations, connectivity and functionality that ensures secured wired and wireless system access for district users; works closely with other technical staff to maintain network security and integrity; and performs related duties as assigned. The Cybersecurity Coordinator designs, implements, and supports complex systems architecture and systems infrastructure district-wide including capacity planning and disaster recovery. They perform advanced, complex server and network administration functions to ensure operations, connectivity, and functionality of secured wired and wireless systems.

Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Coordinator with the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
Information technology industry certifications preferred
Proven experience in cybersecurity management and incident response
Strong knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, technologies, and countermeasures
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey security measures to non-technical staff

Position and Compensation Details

Position: Full-Time
Salary Range: $71,639 - $87,080 Annually
Work Year: 12 months

Additional Salary Information:

$1,600 Advanced Degree Stipend
