This person is responsible for taking direct phone calls from customers and sales reps regarding products and orders. They are also responsible for documenting key information with every point of contact. This position is critical for representing the company as a point of contact to provide solutions for all customers, both internal and external.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Call Handling & Order Processing
Verbally receive information from customer to clarify purpose of call
Create order, provide product information, create RGA or refer call to appropriate department, dealer/distributor or sales rep
Coordinate with other departments to verify availability of product
Recommend product selection of Equipment/Blades based on Product application
Administrative
Maintain CRM data
Process or respond to email correspondence from customer or sales reps
Mail catalog to customers as requested
Retrieve and send invoice or packing lists as requested
Process credit memos/chargebacks
Issue Resolution
Assist customer with resolution of miss-shipment
Communicate territory/customer problems with assigned Sales rep
Provide basic technical guidance on products
Assist with back order resolution
CRITICAL FUNCTIONAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Strong working knowledge of a call reporting management (CRM) system
Strong working knowledge of phone system
Ability to read schematics and illustrated parts list
Strong ERP system knowledge
Working product knowledge
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Word
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school degree or equivalent
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
At least 2 years previous call center environment working as CSR
At least 3-5 years previous work experience balancing call center and data entry
