Flexible Shift Options: We understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible shift options to fit your lifestyle. Choose the schedule that works best for you:
Option 1: Work four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Option 2: Work four 8-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Option 3: Work three 10-hour shifts on Monday, Friday, and Saturday.
Please note: The weekday shifts are performed onsite in Montezuma, Iowa, while the Saturday shift will be performed remotely from the comfort of your home.

What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll handle 75+ inbound calls daily, engaging with customers via chat, email, and fax. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the satisfaction of every customer, addressing queries about pricing, inventory, and deliveries while managing returns and exchanges. You’ll also have the opportunity to promote special products and ensure compliance with industry regulations, all while maintaining professionalism and a positive impression. You’ll collaborate with other departments, like Accounting, Purchasing, and Marketing, to resolve customer issues and update our customer database. Occasionally, you’ll lend your expertise to special projects, expanding your impact across the organization. Your role is critical to maintaining the seamless operation of our customer service team and driving Brownells' exceptional reputation.
What You’ll Need:
Must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
Ideally 1+ year experience in a call center or customer service role
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Teams within 60 days
Competence in desktop computer skills, especially multitasking across multiple screens and programs
Ability to type 45+ words per minute
Basic knowledge of Brownells products and website is a plus
Minimum 3Mbps download, 1.5Mbps upload and ping time less than 30 ms
Preferred 10Mbps download, 5Mbps upload and ping time less than 30 ms
