Employment Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am, other times as needed.
Job Overview
· Monitor and respond to a variety of alarm systems, including burglary, fire, medical and specialized supervisory alarms.
· Make outbound calls to appropriate responding parties following standardized procedures.
· Communicate with a variety of customers regarding their alarm as well as communicate vital information to the appropriate authorities to request response from Police, Fire, or EMS.
· Respond to high-volume of incoming calls in a professional urgent manner to assist callers with their needs.
· Route calls to the appropriate personnel, department, or other location.
· Handle answering service calls accurately and professionally and submit all messages to the appropriate contacts.
Expectations & Responsibilities
· Must provide timely and accurate responses to all monitored alarms.
· Must understand the importance of our company running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
· Must be detail-oriented and focused.
· Proven customer service experience.
· Must be dependable and eager to learn additional tasks.
· Strong work ethic with positive attitude and ability to be a team player.
· Well-spoken with the ability to multi-task
· Must have the ability to understand and follow standards and procedures.
· Must have a basic understanding of computers, keyboard operations, and basic typing skills.
· Be proficient in basic clerical tasks including emailing and internet browser operations.
Requirements
· High school diploma or GED
· Minimum of 18 years old
· Driver’s license or state issued identification.
· Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
· Must pass background check as required for licensing.
· Must be willing to work overtime, nights & weekends.
· Must be able to work holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
