The Curriculum Design Consultant analyzes and develops training curricula using adult learning theories and principles for a variety of digital and print based learning modules and training materials. This position supports the larger Sales and Proposal team during the Requests for Proposals (RFP) process. This position offers product and disease state content expertise and serves as the content project leader on assigned projects. The Curriculum Design Consultant's primary responsibilities are:
Conduct needs assessment evaluations, curriculum analyses, and design effective curriculum training plans and tools utilizing adult learning principles and contemporary trends in learning into training plans as appropriate and requested by the client
Respond to and develop medical/scientific content for RFPs and Proposal and Sales needs, including participating in Sales presentations when necessary
Ensure continuity and incorporation of client needs within a platform or learning system
Represent ETSI at client presentations and med-legal reviews as needed
Analyze client materials for revision/updates and communicate with clients to resolve content related issues
Collaborate with various internal functions to direct content development, manage project scope and scheduling, and ensure continuity and accuracy between all components of a learning system
Review all drafts (as needed), primarily focusing on Draft 0 (changes the Editor should incorporate while creating the Draft 1) and Draft 1 (project consistency and educational elements)
Editorial responsibilities as needed including client electronic review uploads and annotations
Create and maintain Client Preference Sheet (CPS) and Project Log
Review proposals, content outlines, and agreements as needed for completeness and adherence to client requests
Actively participates in various meetings with ETSI staff, clients, and vendors as needed
Maintain computerized proposal content templates to ensure they are accurate and current
Recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of proposals and agreements process
Identify and develop novel solutions and deliverables with other ETSI staff as needed to align with new trends in learning and/or training

Requirements:
The ideal Curriculum Design Consultant candidate will have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to communicate complex medical/scientific information in a way that is understood and learned by pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech sales representatives
A high degree of proficiency in editing and technical writing
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, medical/biological science and disease process, adult learning principles, and instructional design concepts
Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and assignments, and manage multiple tasks at various stages of completion
Excellent attention to detail
Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to remain calm under stress, make sound decisions/creative problem solving, and the ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary project team
The ability to listen effectively, accurately understand, analyze client needs, and respond appropriately to effectively manage client relationships
The ability to learn thorough knowledge of ETSI in-house processes and practices
