About the job Lever Auto is looking for an experienced Credit & Risk Associate to support the expansion of our floorplan lending business. You will be working across the organization to support underwriting, dealer monitoring, risk mitigation, collections and portfolio performance. What you'll be doing: The Credit and Risk Associate position is responsible for providing an exceptional and engaging user experience to our auction partners, dealer partners, and internal team members. Your primary responsibilities support credit review for all potential customers through the application process and document collection requirements, as well as support for Risk on verification of collateral for current customers. This process is essential to properly servicing, retaining, and delighting your internal and external partners, while facilitating Lever’s secured collateral position. You’ll be involved in various risk related operations - dealer application, document collection, and audit reconciliation - facilitating program requirements across Credit and Risk. You will expand your technical and analytical skill set as much as you desire and putting yourself in a position to understand the complex solutions demanded by the rapidly evolving auto dealer segment. Overall you’ll get to work in a fast paced environment with high exposure where there’s no limit on what you’ll get to learn and work on. What you’ll be responsible for:
Develop a thorough understanding of Lever Auto’s policies, processes, and procedures relative to assigned areas, and ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Apply experience and lessons-learned to create or modify work methods related to records, files, processes, and procedures
Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with a wide diversity of individuals, both verbally and written
Strong organizational skills, including ability to multitask, work efficiently, and prioritize
Ability to handle sensitive information and situations with tact and discretion
Receive, validate, and scan inbound application documents and correspondingly ensure proper
Provide input and maintenance of collateral management systems, data, records, and files necessary to provide servicing to the related partner or team
Ensure a smooth flow of communication between RSM, Credit Department and account holders when necessary
Create tasks and assign to RSM on necessary documentation needed for new applications
Identify and address issues with credit compliance among individual dealer accounts
Assist with Audit reconciliation on audits completed in timely manner. Report to Director of Risk any findings whereas there may be a potential risk.
Perform monthly quality assurance responsibilities and cyclical testing
