Contract psychotherapist
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join my growing private practice. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals and groups, focusing on a variety of mental health issues. This role involves working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities, in an outpatient setting. The Psychotherapist will conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate group therapy sessions while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
Pay: $1.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide clinical counseling to patients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Implement specialized therapies such as dance therapy when appropriate, catering to the unique needs of clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Licensure as a Psychotherapist in the state of Tennessee (LCSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP, etc).
- Desire to work with children is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proven ability to conduct effective patient assessments and develop tailored treatment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
Pay: $1.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
