We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing and executing complex construction projects from start to finish. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from pre-construction to post construction, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct or oversee regular inspections and testing to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and construction methods.
Monitor project progress and identify and resolve potential issues.
Prepare and submit project documentation, including reports, submittals, and RFI responses.
Prepare comprehensive project minutes, capturing key decisions and action items.
Request proposals from suppliers, evaluate options, and recommend the most cost-effective solutions.
Evaluate and approve payment certifications for contractors and subcontractors.
Review and evaluate various construction documents, including plans, specifications, and reports.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date project archive, ensuring easy access to essential documents.
Review monthly project reports for OGPE and CES Plan reports.
Oversee concrete pouring operations to confirm the execution of all crucial tests.
SKILLS:
Proficient in reading and understanding construction plans and specifications.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with fluency in both written and verbal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, One Drive, One Note, Share Point).
Familiar with the Procore project management platform, with the ability to navigate its features and utilize it for effective project coordination is preferred.
Familiarity with the Monday project management platform is preferred.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture.
1 + years of experience in construction project management or site inspections is preferred.
