About the role The Community Development Coordinator is responsible for year-round activities to support revenue growth in the community sector. The role will be assigned and expected to deliver an annual revenue target. This role will assist the wider team in identifying, developing, and evaluating new business opportunities. The role will also have a strong focus on retention of community supporters to deliver growth of fundraising revenue and engagement from individual and team supporters. You’ll have the opportunity to
Deliver on the fundraising plan for your allocated accounts to achieve an assigned revenue target
Identify and develop new opportunities within your assigned community portfolio
Provide ongoing stewardship for community fundraisers
Identify and support the development of new relationships that will increase fundraising opportunities and revenue outcomes
Ensure supporter data, interactions and required follow up activities are recorded in the CRM
Support community campaigns and third-party events
Acts as a Movember Brand ambassador and actively participate in community and donor events
For this role, you’ll need
2+ years’ experience in business and fundraising/revenue development roles in the non-profit sector
Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse individuals at all organizational levels, both internal and external
Proven track record in managing fundraising portfolios with revenue generating accountabilities
Natural ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
Highly developed organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage several priorities concurrently and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment
Adaptability and flexibility
High level of attention to detail
Bonus points for
Experience with Salesforce (CRM system)
