General Purpose: This position assists in amplifying our brand presence through cause/social impact marketing efforts. This highly creative position will be critical in drafting and executing communications that broaden access to mental health care for Wyoming children, teens, and families through donor and social-impact marketing efforts.
What I am Responsible for (Essential Functions):
Develop multi-channel content for organization-wide audiences (internal and external) that fosters engagement, stewardship, and retention.
Understand user motivations and create messaging that positions them to build confidence, competence, and connection.
Execute highly personalized, engaging communications that motivate and inspire individuals to engage with Cathedral Home through advocacy, philanthropy, and employment.
Develop publications and media that inspire equitable access to care, such as mental health counseling, family resources, and education and skill-building.
Translate complex ideas and sensitive topics into visually appealing, user-friendly designs that compel action for children & families.
Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and program leaders to ensure accurate service representation. Support the development of marketing plans for agency initiatives and create opportunities for donors to engage and impact.
Develop material for internal audiences, such as newsletters, infographics, resources, and events.
Work with the Clinical department and community partners to create resources and guides for community use.
Develop digital and print communications for donors/advocates, internal departments, community partners, clients, and families.
Collaborate with the Development Coordinator to design yearly collateral, including appeals, reports, mailings, magazines, and other projects as determined necessary.
Develop signage, invitations, and materials for events.
Design media for daily consumption (static social posts, short-form videos).
Assist with needed updates to agency deliverables with the Development Coordinator.
Design reports for various audiences, including donors, grantors, and legislators.
Minimum Requirements: Education Experience and Background:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 21 years of age at the time of hire.
Clear background and child abuse registry checks.
Driving record of no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in any combination in the past three years and no major moving violations within the past three years.
Strong written communication skills with a proven interpersonal, organizational, time-management, oral communication, and teamwork background.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva, Microsoft.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, preferably in the social services industry.
Preferred Requirements: Education Experience and Background:
Bachelor’s degree in design, communications/marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience with nonprofit organizations, mission-driven marketing, and community engagement.
Strong understanding of ethical storytelling and health equity.
Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft, Squarespace, and Asana project management.
Strong skill set of rapport building, active listening, and therapeutic interactions.
