CODE ENFORCEMENT ASSISTANT
The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position of Code Enforcement Assistant. To perform code enforcement duties within the Community Development division and to perform and assist with a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Responsible for implementing the Fat, Oils, and Grease (F.O.G.) program which involves collecting information, inspecting grease traps quarterly, tracking information and ensuring compliance with ordinances and regulations.? Provides updates to Engineering/GIS Department for tracking purposes. Implements the Industrial Pretreatment Program by organizing and tracking all information, creating reports, and providing updates to the Engineering/GIS Department. 1-3 years? experience in working with public in city mapping, Fat, Oils, and Grease (F.O.G.) program, policies required for creating addresses, zoning and abatement. Possession of, or ability to obtain, certification by Oklahoma Code Enforcement Association as code enforcement officer within one year of employment.
