Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure that all parts are fabricated to exact specifications.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, particularly Solid Works.
Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
Utilize precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines, to verify part dimensions.
Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues related to production processes.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Train operators on the proper use of CNC machinery and tools as needed.
Qualifications
Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming, with experience in Solid Works preferred.
Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
Familiarity with milling machines and their operational procedures.
Experience with precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines.
Ability to fabricate parts according to specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
