CNC Programmer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure that all parts are fabricated to exact specifications.

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour

This role requires a strong understanding of CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure that all parts are fabricated to exact specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, particularly Solid Works.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments, including bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines, to verify part dimensions.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues related to production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Train operators on the proper use of CNC machinery and tools as needed.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming, with experience in Solid Works preferred.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Familiarity with milling machines and their operational procedures.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines.
- Ability to fabricate parts according to specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
