Job Overview
The Clinical Director plays a critical role in overseeing the clinical operations of our healthcare facility. This leadership position is responsible for ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered while adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies. The Clinical Director will collaborate with medical staff, manage clinical teams, and implement best practices in healthcare management to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Duties
Oversee daily clinical operations and clinical services and ensure compliance with JCAHO and OHMAS standards and other regulatory requirements
Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies and procedures to enhance service delivery
Experience in developing and managing IOP and PHP programs
Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff and clinical support staff to ensure a competent workforce
Provide regular individual and/or group clinical supervision to clinicians.
Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of the clinical program to ensure that client needs, agency standards, OHMAS regulations, and funding requirements are met
Maintain documentation, client files, and statistics as required by agency policies, funding sources and OHMAS regulations
Manage client and outcomes tracking in EHR
Use outcome data to manage staff, operations and clinical program performance
Collaborate with administrative staff in grant writing and reporting
Provide individual and group counseling according to treatment plans and in accordance with professional standards
Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner
Conduct regular clinical team meetings
Maintain a working relationship with outside agencies
Meet with the Executive Director or equivalent for collaboration toward the agency's mission and goals
Manage concerns related to operational coverage, clinical services productivity, customer service skills, workload and project-based expectations of staff
Monitor quality assurance programs and initiate corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards of care
Conduct regular assessments of clinical services to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
Facilitate communication between departments to ensure cohesive operation within the healthcare facility
Skills
Strong knowledge of JCAHO and OHMAS standards and healthcare regulations
Proven experience in healthcare management with a focus on medical management practices
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
Strong analytical skills for assessing clinical operations and implementing improvements
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach
This position is ideal for an experienced healthcare professional looking to make a significant impact in a leadership role within our organization. Minimum 3 years clinical director experience required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits:
