Salary: $77,000 to $80,000

About I’RAISE: I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation, founded in the heart of the North Bronx in 2012, began as a mentoring program for at-risk female youth living in New York City Authority Housing. Under the visionary leadership of CEO Shanequa Moore, the organization quickly expanded its reach and impact. Shanequa, a Bronx native who overcame poverty and significant life challenges, was inspired to give back to her community, creating a resilient organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and youth.
History: Incorporated in 2013 and achieving Tax-Exempt Non-Profit status in 2014, I'RAISE has grown into a formidable force for positive change. Initially focused on mentoring, the organization recognized the critical need for mental health support in public schools and strategically pivoted to address this gap. Today, I'RAISE champions equity in mental healthcare through culturally responsive programs that foster resilience, well-being, and empowerment for youth.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Program Oversight:
  • Lead and improve clinical programming under the Integrative Mental Wellness (IMW) Model.
  • Supervise LMSW staff and MSW, BSW interns to ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices.
  • Collaborate with key leadership, including the Program Director and Executive Officer of Programming, on program goals and service excellence.
Clinical Services and Supervision:
  • Provide therapy and crisis intervention, including assessments and treatment plans.
  • Assign cases and manage staff schedules for quality service delivery.
  • Offer one-on-one and group supervision to LMSWs, MSWs, and BSW interns to foster professional growth.
Training and Clinical Hours Development:
  • Facilitate clinical hours for licensure, including workshops and training sessions.
  • Lead training on therapeutic techniques, case management, and ethical practices, ensuring compliance with state licensure requirements.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, OCFS, DOE, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee documentation, including audits of clinical records, to maintain quality standards.
Collaboration and External Relations:
  • Act as a liaison with schools, universities, and community agencies to support student mental health needs.
Program Development and Strategic Planning:
  • Contribute to strategic planning and develop new clinical initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings to discuss program outcomes and improve clinical services.
Staff Development:
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship for LMSWs, fostering skill enhancement.
Crisis Management and Problem Solving:
  • Support staff in managing high-risk cases, offering clinical guidance.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Executive Officer of Programming and Program Director.
  • Represent the organization in external meetings and conferences.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Active New York State LCSW license.
  • Minimum 7 years of clinical experience, including therapy, supervision, workshops, and training.
  • SIFI certification required/preferred.
  • Experience supervising and training LMSW/MSW staff.
  • Familiarity with school systems and educational resources.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and case management software (preferred).
  • Ability to travel to NYC public schools as needed.
  • NYC resident with a valid Social Security Number (no relocation assistance or visa sponsorship provided).
