Opportunity for Career Growth-on the job training to obtain your Medical Assistant Certification, receive 2% pay increase when classwork is completed and an additional 2% increase when testing completed, and certification obtained!
This is a full time, day shift position with rotating weekends!
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse, designated specifically by the clinic.

Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments, rooming patients, procedures, treatments, filing/retrieving medical records, and general office clerical duties.

Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:

High School graduate or equivalent.
Current BLS Certification preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
Required to successfully completion of Assessment-Based Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHR’s), within 30 days of hire.

Skills:

Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.

SALARY RANGE

‎ Higher base pay for our Carbondale clinic location!!!!
$20.41-$30.02/hour PCT Clinic
$21.23-$31.22/hour CNA Clinic
$22.08-$32.47/hour MA Clinic
Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for PCT, CNA, MA
$1,000 sign-on bonus with a six-month, full-time commitment. (Internal candidates not eligible for sign-on.)
