Overview
We are contractors for Fed Ex seeking reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team out the building in Brookings Oregon to deliver packages in the Smith River area .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. Job seems easy but very physical.
Duties
Pay: $68,000.00 - $73,727.00 per year

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Duties
- Operate various types of trucks, including box trucks and vans, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Load and unload cargo ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- 21 years of age or older .
- Proven experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission and GPS coordinate vehicles is a plus.
- Experience in route driving, courier services, or delivery driving is highly desirable but not necessary .
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and moving processes will be beneficial.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record.
