Charter Coordinator
Full-time Charter Coordinator Position
The duties of the charter coordinator are to:
- Monitor the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to final destination (Check weather/airport closures)
- Identifies, anticipates, and takes corrective action to minimize actual/potential delays due to scheduling, crew legality and maintenance issues.
- Work with plane detail technicians to confirm planes are ready for flights.
- Work with crew to ensure that trip sheets and any special requests are filled.
- Update TSA records.
- Review trip schedules for future dates to ensure there are no issues with crew.
- Review weight and balances for trips scheduled.
- Coordinate with Line Department to make sure they are aware of charter planes landing and quick turns expected.
- Responsible for crew logistics, arranging/coordinating crew hotel accommodations and ground transportation.
- Check with Fixed Base Operators to know if hangars are needed, fuel, etc.
- Duties associated with the Emergency Response plane as assigned by the Director of Operations.
The requirements of the charter coordinator are:
- Basic High School Diploma
- Preferred experience with customer service and or logistics.
- Willing to work in a fast paced 24/7 environment of business aviation, requiring non-standard work hours and on call response.
- Strong organizational skills - detail oriented, ability to prioritize and be proactive.
- Flexible, able to deal with change.
Other information related to the charter coordinator are:
- This full time position requires on site office duties and after hours dispatching from home.
- Salary will be determined based on experience related to this position.
