Job title: Cath Lab Technologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to assist in performing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, monitoring patient vital signs, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist in preparing the Cath Lab for procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order
Set up and operate imaging equipment during procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the physician
Assist physicians during procedures as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Provide patient education and support before and after procedures
Ensure patient safety at all times

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification preferred
BLS and ACLS certification required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
