This part-time position offers a competitive salary, and pay increases after 12 and 18 months, and tuition reimbursement to qualified employees!
What does a Caseworker I do? Some of what you do as a Caseworker is:
· Gain knowledge of the method, procedures, rules and regulations necessary to perform social service / case management support services
· Schedule monthly interactions with children, families, care workers, faster families
· Work with families to help them create a more productive environment
· Advocate for clients' rights and access to services
· Help provide crisis intervention and support to clients facing challenging situations
· Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care
· Assist families in understanding and utilizing resources from public and private social services to meet their needs
What do you need to be a Caseworker I?
· A Bachelor’s Degree
· OR Associate’s Degree with 2 years of paraprofessional case management
· OR Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience as a County Social Service Aide III
