JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

As a Cath Lab Tech, you'll be the primary resource for technical aspects of cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, and electrophysiology.
Cath Lab Technicians work as a critical part of the cath lab team, so you must be well-versed in reading and interpreting EKG readouts.

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Shift times: 7a - 7:30p (12 hr shifts)
Must have experience - ARRT/RCIS cert preferred
Open to reviewing CVOR/CST with strong Vascular/IR exp
Exp Scrubbing, Monitoring, and Circulating required
4yrs Cath/IR exp strongly preferred
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) No mapping exp needed (performed by 3rd party company)
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS) within six months of hire

Unit Beds/ rooms: 3 rooms, average 4-6 procedures per day

Min Compensation: $38.48/hr
On call: $4.50 per hr starts on Sat 7a - Mon 7a; Stemi and Stroke call included, average 8-9 shifts per month.
Weekend Shift Differential: $2.00/Hour
Call Back: 2hr min; time and a half pay
