Key Responsibilities
- Lead, direct, and train CAD Team, including designers and drafters.
- Manage the documentation and design process for new products, ensuring designs are accurate and compliant
- Create detailed assembly and component drawings using 3D CAD software
- Perform validation and quality assurance functions to ensure final product meets design specifications and functions correctly.
- Carry out Engineering Change Requests and maintain accurate PLM system data.
- Support other departments and assist with new product design and prototype development.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD (Solid Works), SAP, ERP, and MRP systems.
- Strong technical and mathematical skills.
