We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of 3 small residential assets located in Hyattsville, MD. The Property Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the property, maintaining positive relationships with residents, and efficiently managing administrative tasks.
What you will be doing
Manage all aspects of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards
Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and managing security deposit returns
Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, work orders, and other relevant documentation
Oversee the collection of rent payments and ensure timely processing
Collaborate with maintenance staff to address repair and maintenance needs promptly
Enforce community rules and regulations to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment
Stay updated on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all interactions with residents
What you will bring along
Fluent in Spanish is required
3-5 years of experience as Property Manager
High school diploma or equivalent
ARM or CAM Certified preferred
Strong knowledge of real estate, administrative procedures and practices
Excellent conflict management skills to effectively resolve disputes between residents or with external parties
Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing contracts and eviction procedures
Exceptional customer relationship management skills to provide excellent service to residents
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in using property management software One Site
Knowledge in Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams, Adobe
