BDA | Sales Representative TEMP (IT&E-1923)
The IT&E Sales Representatives are responsible for going door-to door and selling telecommunications products/services. They will be setting up and demonstrating product, negotiating sales, and completing paperwork. They may have to check on clients regularly.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The physical activity of this position includes balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, hearing, standing: remaining upright for sustained periods of time, Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another. Fingering: picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling– making substantial movements of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
Talking: expressing ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and making fine discriminations in sound.
The physical requirements of this position involve sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. It also includes light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
For visual acuity requirements including preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection) using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Working Conditions
The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions: no effective protection from weather. Both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
About IT&E
Formerly Micronesian Telecommunications Corp, IT&E was a part of Verizon International. CITADEL acquired IT&E in 2005 after successfully navigating the US CIFUS process and the Federal Communications Commission. In 2006, a partnership was established with Sumitomo Corporation, one of Japan’s largest trading houses, which invested in the company as part of its telecommunications push. The company acquired IT&E in Guam, and together, became the largest wireless provider in Micronesia. The entire company was renamed IT&E. IT&E was the first in the region to offer 3G services with the launch of CDMA EVDO in 2009. It soon followed with the launch of 4G LTE in 2011.

Responsibilities
The Employee will:
- Travel to different villages, neighborhoods and/or multi-dwelling units going door-to-door with the goal of selling telecommunication services, such as, but not limited to home internet mobile cellular and/or home phone services.
- Sets up and demonstrates product and shows how customer can maximize product/service
- Show a presentation on product/service features and be able to explain why product/service is better than competitors.
- Recommend and/or suggest products/services to clients.
- Convince clients to purchase product/service using a script or persuasive technique.
- Distribute or hand out product/service pamphlets or door hangers.
- Develop prospect list or lead list.
- Circle back and check on customers who are in the position to buy the product.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Work in an assigned territory, often up to 30-50 houses or locations per day.
- Win back or upgrade current or former customers.
- Clean up demonstration area before leaving.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Two years sales experience is preferred.
- Driver's License is essential to performing work duties.
