Republik Coffee in PASADENA is looking for one barista to join our team. We are passionate about our coffee and food we are looking for an individual who shares that passion with us. Here at Republik we wholeheartedly believe in providing our customers with a fantastic experience, from the hello at the door to the art in the cup.
We pool tips and add them to your paycheck. The adjusted hourly rate for this position with tips included is about $24 to $26/hour and often more. We also offer health benefits for full-time employees.
For this position previous experience and latte art is necessary. But what is most important is a genuine excitement for what we do, a willingness to learn, and a desire to take care of your fellow humans.
We are a growing and very flexible company. We believe that the best way to grow is to mentor our team and give you the tools you need to thrive. One of these tools is the ability to own shares of the company after your first year with us :)

Main Activities
- Prepare each drink accurately, efficiently, and beautifully.
- Follow the established health and safety guidelines.
- Interact and develop relationships with customers regularly, professionally, and with compassion.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
- Maintain a clean and beautiful dining room.
- Train new baristas.
- Develop a relationship with our Roaster and communicate with the employees and customers about what coffees we use and how they taste.
- Composure in high-stress situations.
- High integrity, Self-Driven, High Emotional Intelligence.
- Problem Solver.
- Strong personality and character.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An ability to build relationships with the client base.
- Working experience as a barista.
