Operates a bandsaw to saw curved and irregular designs on wood stock and cardboard to size.

Position Overview
Operates a bandsaw to saw curved and irregular designs on wood stock and cardboard to size.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjusts and sets the bandsaw to job specifications
- Runs machine and pushes/turns saw against the blade to cut stock along marked outline or configuration
- Removes cut stock and verifies dimensions of stock
- Removes dull or defective blades
- Positions template on woodstock/cardboard and marks cutting outline on stock
- Follows all safety protocol
- Other duties may be assigned.
- 6 months of band saw experience
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- This job requires standing and walking
