Automotive Express Lube Technician

We are seeking an Automotive Express Lube Technician to join our team at HW Kia of West County. Competitive pay, benefits and advancement opportunities available.

Responsibilities include:

Inspects vehicles, performs oil changes, fluid checks and replenishes, and other light maintenance tasks necessary for safe operation of the vehicle
Performs tire rotation/wheel balance as needed
Inspects brakes, suspensions, air conditioning systems, fuel systems, and other parts for potential problems
Performs basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Cleans and maintains shop areas following regulations

Qualifications:

Effective analytical and communication skills with an eagerness to improve
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications
Previous experience is an automotive shop or current technology student (preferred)
One year in a service department (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must be able to pass a drug screen
Capable of standing with hands overhead
Must be available to work some weekends
