Overview/Purpose
The Associate Fashion Editor is a member of the Global Fashion Network. They are responsible for providing support for all fashion editorial and projects. They work closely with the Senior Fashion Editor in executing fashion editorial across all platforms. This role also has the expectation to ideate fashion ideas across platforms - print, digital, e-commerce, events, etc. They must have experience and the professionalism required to appropriately participate in editorial meetings, brand discussions, etc. Along with the Fashion Assistant, they help provide on the ground logistical support for fashion shoots - packing of trunks, messengers, sample tracking, etc. As part of the GFN, this role also offers support to other brands within the network when needed.
Responsibilities include:

Work directly with Senior Fashion Editor, communicating daily about upcoming fashion stories, projects and fashion market work

Supports the execution of all fashion projects including managing run-throughs, fittings, sample tracking

Ideation of fashion ideas across platforms, video, print, e commerce, events, etc

Attend market appointments as needed

May be solely responsible for specific markets

Existing strong relationships with fashion brand PR representatives, effective communication with brands

Assist stylists with fittings and on set as needed

Work with Fashion Assistant on shoot logistics; arranging messengers, packing trunks, tracking and check-in of samples, etc.

Represent brand at industry events as determined by Editor

Assist with other brands in the Global Fashion Network as needed

Style shoots and act as sittings editor, as determined by Editor

Manage fashion credits post shoot, in collaboration with fashion assistant

This is a guild position.
The expected base salary range for this position is from $65,000-$70,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
