Assistant Operations Manager

The Assistant Operations Manager position is under the direct supervision of an assigned Operations Director. The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for having all posts covered based on the company and client needs at all times. The assistant operations manager will act as the standing liaison with their assigned client. An assistant operations manager will be the lead coordinator of operations communication for the assigned client locations. This is successfully done by efficiently utilizing uniformed security officers to perform assigned duties such as:

Coordinating requested services
Providing exceptional customer service
Effectively managing people and costs, ensuring contract compliance
Maintain adherence to specific site security procedures
Drive operational accountability through effective change management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Directly report to the Assigned Director of Operations
Carry out the directions of the Director of Operations, regarding administrative and operational policy and procedure within the division.
Utilize the operations command center (OCC), field supervisors, account supervisors, and site supervisors to administer, assign, control, coordinate, guide, supervise, and train all operational personnel to efficiently deliver security services and ensure the mission of our company.
Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
Establish a communication link with area clients, field supervisors, account supervisors, and site supervisors.
Assist with investigations of all complaints reported against the personnel in your assigned area.
Ensure timely turnaround on payroll claims and leave submissions within your area.
Complete all DAR – Daily Activity Reports in the approved format and forward it to the Director of Operations for review.
Consistently submit monthly reports related to the performance of your Business Unit
Review performance reports with your supervisors to improve performance as needed.
Must qualify your posts and guards according to the Qualification Rubric.
Inclusive and not limited to additional responsibilities as advised by your executives.

## Qualifications

NYS Security License
NYS Driver's License (must be able to drive)
Social Security Card
Open availability including WEEKENDS
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Operations Manager.
Proven experience in an operational role
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards in Security Operations is a plus
